Episode 1: Sol Lewitt

For the first episode of Book Porn, there is no better artist to begin with than Sol Lewitt. Over the course of his life, Lewitt produced over fifty of his own artist’s books in addition to co-founding Printed Matter, inc to publish and distribute artist’s books. This episode features three of Lewitt’s leporello works: Tilted Forms (1987) published by Westfälischer Kunstverein Munster; Lignes en Quatre Directions et Toutes Leurs Combinaisons (1983) published by CAPC Musée d’Art Contemporain Bordeaux; and Black Gouaches (1992) published by Nouvelles Editions Séguier.
